Feel free to use cameras and take pictures here as lots of people do that. If you are brave enough you can sit on the opposite corner of the traffic light to get the low angle shots. SO long as you practice safety at all times. (Buses and Trams to come up pretty close to you.

I found if I walked about 50 meters away on the street I can capture the Eureka building in the frame.

In the evening the building lights up with its yellow lights. These stay on just till sunrise.
