The highlight of Tenorio National Park, whose volcano you can't climb, by the way, is the Rio Celeste, an almost miraculously blue river that flows through part of the park. Along it is also the hiking trail that leads to the various highlights of the river. The first is the waterfall, the Catarata Celeste, which falls from an estimated depth of about 25 meters, forming a turquoise blue waterfall basin with a loud roar.
