Germany Rosenau Castle Ruin

The Rosenau castle ruins are, along with the Drachenfels and the Löwenburg, the most unknown ruins in the Siebengebirge. It lies on a smaller mountain and is surrounded by forest.

In autumn, when the trees are colourful, the ruins make a wonderful motif.

Travel Information

The best place to park is at the Stenzelberg car park and then walk from there in the direction of the Einkehrhaus. From there, the way to the castle ruins is also signposted. From the car park, it is approx. 2km to the ruins.
