Iceland Kirkjufell - another view
Definitely worth going down to the edge of the water here to get a slightly different perspective on the famous mountain view at Kirkjufell. The path around the waterfall a few hundred meters behind this is ram packed with photographers, but this area is relatively deserted and provides a variety of compositions in close proximity to one another which are slightly more interesting because they are less familiar than the classic view with the waterfall in front.
Photography Tips
Wear waterproof boots - there is an area here where you can walk over shallow water flowing through rocks to get some of the more interesting vantage points but you need to occasionally step in ankle deep water.
