Iceland Vestrahorn, Stokksnes
Vestrahorn mountain is located on the Stokknes Peninsula, close to the town of Höfn. It is an impressive 454 meters tall and it faces out to the sea on its southern side and is surrounded by a sandy coastline that is often home to seals.

Travel Information
Vestrahorn is about six hours drive from Reykjavík, however, making it slightly too far to reach and return from in a day. It can only be reached by car.
The land is privately owned, so you must pay to get access to the beach (about 2000isk per person).
There is a bed and breakfast (The Viking Cafe) where you can buy the tickets to the beach or you can book a room if you'd wish to sleep there hunting for the Northern lights.
