A magnificent location, one of the best locations in Iceland. A glacial lagoon filled with icebergs on one side of the road, and a black-sand beach with icebergs on the other side!

Photography Tips

Use an ND filter to make use of the unique tide/iceberg/sand combination... I didn't visit at sunset, but I bet it's a breathtaking view. Sunset lasts several hours... so plenty of time to get some good shots.

Travel Information

Plenty of parking, and the coffee shop also has a power strip to charge devices.
