Ireland Sheep's Head, Cork.
The tip of the Sheep's Head peninsula looking west out over the Atlantic ocean.
Photography Tips
Sometimes the weather is kind and still with clear skies and you can watch the sun sink below the horizon. Many trans-atlantic flights pass over the south of Ireland. In this shot some of their diffuse contrails are illuminated yellow and orange by the setting sun.
Travel Information
Drive as far west as you can on the Sheep's Head peninsula and you arrive at "Bernie's Cupan Tae" a hikers coffee shop. Plenty of parking here and it's about a 20-25 minute hike out to the tip of the peninsula. Many photo opportunities along the way.
