Ireland Eagle Island Lighthouse

Very beautiful location on the west coast of Ireland about 10 minutes from belmullet. There is a lovely sheltered cove called Scotchport with an old boathouse and back in the old days this is where fisherman or people bringing supplies to the lighthouse would take off from. It's a very quiet area with little amount of tourists.

Photography Tips

I used my 70-200 f4 for this shot and I think this is a great lens for this location as the lighthouse is some distance away.

Travel Information

You will need a car as the is no public transport to this spot....there is a boathouse just off the shore and you can park your car nearby off the road.
