This spot is perfect to photograph the two mountains "Langkofel" and "Plattkofel" on the Seiser Alm in the Dolomites. These two mountains are very characteristic for the Seiser Alm - the largest high-altitude alpine meadow in europe. In autumn after sunset you can see the alpine glow. This is an optical phenomenon - the mountains are illuminated by the last atmospheric light and they're glowing in deep red and magenta colors.
