The beautiful lake is situated near by small church in the mountains of Trentino with a stunning mountain range in the background.

Photography Tips

Take photos during sunset or sunrise for better light quality as you get lots of shades and bright spots during the day. Autumn is the best season but be aware of early snow.

Travel Information

This spot can only be reached by hiking. I stayed in the Refugio San Giuliano mountain hut overnight to be able to photograph sunset and sunrise without hiking at night. The hike itself is doable for beginners and families.
