Riomaggiore is the most southern village of the five Cinque Terre, all connected by trail. The water and mountainside have been declared national parks. It is in the Riviera di Levante region and has a shoreline on the Mediterranean's Gulf of Genoa, with a small beach and a wharf framed by tower houses.
Photography Tips
Be there for sunset. Avoid peak tourist season as the village will be overwhelmed by tourists arriving from all directions including cruiseships.

If you're driving your best bet is to park at the La Spezia central train station and take a short train ride.
