I found this spot when I was in Seoul in April 2019. From this spot, you have a great overview of Downtown Seoul including Mt. Namsan and the Lotte World Tower.

Photography Tips

Go up early (1 hour before the golden hour begins) and take enough to drink and maybe a little snack with you. Then you will have enough time to check the views and get your tripod settled. You can take great pictures during the golden/blue hour and later in the night. A tripod is highly recommended if you shoot at night. Maybe you bring a flashlight also because it`s dark if you go down the mountain.

Travel Information

I think you can drive by taxi to the mountain, but for the rest, you have to walk. I decided to take the Metro to the station "Muakjae" and took a walk to the top of the mountain. The walk took me about 60 mins in total from the Metro station.
