I have started photography in my early years, interested in photography from the first time I saw my fathers camera a Agfa Isola.
Later, when I was about 12-14 years, down't know exactly I bought a Praktica L, and after that I exchanged for a Praktica LTL. I also bought a 135mm lens and a teleconverter.
At the age of about 22 I lost my interest in photography, and bought a simple camera, and I used it for years.
In 2003 after a severe motorcycle accident, I stopped driving fast motorcycles at the racetrack (Yamaha R1 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife) and I had to change my hobby and I bought a Canon 10D.
After that I had the following camera's:
Canon 1D MKII and the 1D MKIIN. After that the Canon 5D MKII, the 5D MKIII, and in 2017 I changed after breaking my head for a long time to Sony a7R MKII. I still own this camera, and I'm very happy with it, it was an expensive, but wise dicission to change to Sony.
From 2014-2017 I was a professional photographer, specialized in motorsports. Moto GP, SBK and the Dutch championships.
After 2007 I focussed on animals and birds, until 2013 when I changed to landscapes.
I think I have found my photography goal, and love to do landscapes.
I hope that you have a good time looking at my work, and lets have fun together with capturing the beautiful things in life!
It brought me some nice photos, and some new friends.
My photography goal: I hope I will ever make my most beautiful picture...
