The weather might be difficult to deal with. This is due to the mountains to the east, which can easily catch and cause cloud cover. ruining the sunrise light for you.
A wide to ultra wide angle lens is needed to capture the lake in its entirety.

Going north west from Furnas, it will take you about 5min until you have to take a clearly marked left turn.
