La Sagrada Familia is an incredible site to visit, even those who, like me, are not religious. Do yourself a favor and book in advance (a few days is all you need) and if possible, try getting a spot in the first group of the day (9:00). By doing so, you will avoid most of the crowds who pull up in buses later, but more importantly, the morning light will be pouring in through the east facing stained glass, bathing the white interior in a kaleidoscope of beautiful colors. The hour guided tour is packed with information (such as the east facing glass are blues and greens to take advantage of the soft morning light where the west facing glass are reds and yellows to take advantage of the warmer afternoon light.)
