The Crack USA

En route to Zion National Park’s famous “Subway” you’ll pass numerous cascades and waterfalls. After the much photographed Archangel Falls and just before you get to the Subway, you’ll come to another iconic photo spot called “The Crack”, which is a 25 foot long fissure in the red sandstone about 3 to 4 inches wide. Photographers like to scatter yellow leaves around the crack in the fall to enhance the dramatic scene.
