This part of the Peaks of the Balkan starts in the Valbona Valley. From there, you can reach nearly every summit of the Valbona National Park Mountain Range. All along the way you will find views on the towering peaks.

Photography Tips

Move around with your camera when the light cuts the mountains. You need to be fairly adaptive with your position in order to get the perfect light painting the mountain ranges. A standard zoom should be doing its job here.

Travel Information

Parking in the valley was free of charge (fall 2022). The hikes can be quite challenging. There are no huts on the way up, only a small local farmers house which offers tea. So make sure, to bring enough food and drinks.
