Albania Valbona Valley

The Valbona Valley lies secluded in the heart of the Albanian mountains and is the key piece of the so called Valbona Valley National Park. A bigger rivers runs throughout the whole valley which is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Photography Tips

Take the street as your key element leading to the mountains. You don't need an ultra-wide angle lens here. A standard zoom is more than enough.

Travel Information

The Valbona valley can either be reached by getting a rental car or by bus. Most of the roads suggest to go via the Komani lake. However, there is also a mountain pass leading there. Be careful when driving the mountain pass since there is a lot of loose rock and streets in bad conditions.
