This was shot at the many Penguin Colonies in Antarctica where during the summer months there are these exposed areas devoid of snow there the penguins come to nest and have chicks. The penguins are very territorial always pinching rocks from their neighbours.

A 70-300 lens that was used to take a number of shots overlapping the others preferably using a tripod then stitching them in Lightroom

This was a 10 day cruise to Antarctica 2 days to get down there and 2 back with the other 6 visiting various spots on the continent
