Esperanza Base is one of the few permanently inhabited research stations in Antarctica, operated by Argentina on the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. It is unique for hosting civilian families, including a school and children born on the continent. Surrounded by dramatic ice-covered landscapes and wildlife, it represents a rare human presence in one of the most remote places on Earth.

Photography Tips

I like it to get some unsharp elements in the foreground for a bit more dynamic in the framing.
