Antarctica Portal Point Shoulder
Portal Point is a small landing site on the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, once used as a British refuge hut location during early expeditions. Today, it’s a popular stop for expedition cruises, offering easy shore access, gentle snow slopes, and scenic views over Charlotte Bay.
Photography Tips
Place a person into the frame to that people who watching the photo can more relate to that outer worldly landscape. Furthermore, watch for leading lines in the ice and the rocks to lead ones eye towards your subject of interest.
Travel Information
This is considered a rather easy landing site due to its mostly calm waters, shallow access and easy gentle walk on snow hills.
