Hi, I would like to but according to Google maps as well Wikipedia, Salinas Grandes are located in the pronvince of Salta and Jujuy. Do you have a your source?

You are right , there are 2 salinas grandes, one is between catamarca and cordoba provinces , where you put the mark of your spot, and the other between Salta and Jujuy going from Purmamarca to Susques by the route n 52. Thanks, I updated the photo location. It was on the route from San Pedro to Salta, so yes, the 52 hwy.
