Argentina Salto San Martín
Salto San Martín is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Iguazu Falls, visible in all its magnitude from the panoramic walkway in Iguaçu National Park, Brazil. From this viewpoint, you get one of the best frontal views of the Argentine falls, surrounded by subtropical rainforest and the constant mist generated by the force of the water.
Photography Tips
Best time to photograph:
Early morning or late afternoon for softer light and fewer visitors.
Sunny days intensify the colors and allow rainbows to appear through the mist.
Photography tips:
A medium telephoto lens (70-200 mm) helps isolate San Martín Falls from the others.
Protect your equipment with a waterproof case: the mist is constant and can wet your lenses and camera.
Bring a microfiber cloth to clean your lens frequently.
