Cono de Arita is a stratovulcano in the Salar de Arizaro, a big salt lake at 3.689 m a.s.l. in Puna Argentina.

Photography Tips

The sun is very strong in Puna Argentina and you will not be able to look at the landscape without shielded and polarized sunglasses. A polarized filter is also required for photos. I took this photo with a 28-300mm telephoto lens.
