Argentina Cuesta del Obispo Viewpoint

At the Mirador Cuesta del Obispo viewpoint, three kilometres before the pass Piedra del Molino, the serpentine road from El Carril to the Parque Nacional Los Cardones changes from gravel to asphalt. From here you have spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, up to 5226 m high, and of the serpentines of the track.

Travel Information

Of the approximately 65 km from El Carril to the beginning of the National park, only about 17 km are gravel roads. But on this section of the route, the crucial 1000 metres or so of altitude have to be overcome.
