Argentina Ranger Station El Chaltén

From the visitor centre with the ranger station of the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares at the entrance to El Chaltén, the view of the granite peaks of the Fitz Roy massif is particularly good. Only rarely are they not shrouded in clouds.

A telephoto lens is a good choice here.

Travel Information

The car park on the other side of road 23 is the only place in El Chaltén where "wild camping" is allowed.
