The viewpoint "Mirador de Laguna Azul" is simply breathtaking. What a huge, blue lagoon. Incidentally, the Laguna Azul also has the name Laguna Calvu.

Photography Tips

Your lens should be as wide -angled as possible. I used 16mm on a full -frame camera and it wasn't enough. That's why I put several portrait pictures together into a panorama.

Travel Information

It's the 4 day of a 5 days trekking tour. You need fully camping equipment, because at Laguna CAB and Laguna Creton you are in the wilderness.

This time we startet at Laguna Creton and went to Laguna Ilon. At Laguna Ilon is a Refugio.

We were quite alone in this place.
