Palacio Barolo is one of the most iconic buildings in Buenos Aires, inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy and once the tallest building in South America. Its architecture blends neo-Gothic and Art Nouveau elements, creating a truly unique landmark in the city skyline. On the ground level, the magnificent entrance hall impresses visitors with its vaulted arches, marble details, and dramatic symmetry, giving the feeling of stepping into a grand historic palace.

Photography Tips

I used the wide angle format from the iPhone 17 Pro and it works pretty well. Shoot in RAW and use the manual settings for more possibilities in the edit afterwards. I used my iPhone for safety reasons and can show you that the technology works pretty well next to big cameras.

Travel Information

Getting around is easy because "Uber" is widely available and usually cheap, making it a convenient option for visitors. During the daytime, walking is generally fine in many areas, especially in central neighborhoods and tourist districts. However, like in many large cities, it is not recommended to carry big cameras or expensive equipment openly, as this may attract unwanted attention. For smaller streets or traveling at night, it is safer and more comfortable to take a car service such as Uber instead of walking.

With a bit of awareness and common sense, visitors can enjoy Buenos Aires safely while experiencing everything the city has to offer.
