The rooftop panorama bar of the Alvear Icon Hotel — known as the Crystal Bar — sits on the 32nd floor and offers sweeping views over the skyline of Buenos Aires and the Río de la Plata. From here, you can look out across Puerto Madero, the ecological reserve, and the river, especially impressive at sunset when the city lights begin to glow.

Big cameras are not allowed. So make sure you have a small compact camera with you that's fits with a wide angle or fixed lens. Otherwise you can use your phone.
