The Mt Coot-tha Brisbane lookout is one of the best locations to see the Brisbane skyline, day or night.

Photography Tips

For nighttime skyline shots a tripod is essential.This was an 8 second exposure that seemed to work fairly well. It can be busy at the lookout so you may have to be patient to get an unobstructed vantage. 8 sec, f/6.3, ISO 200, focal length 70

Travel Information

You can take public transit to the base and walk up however I would recommend driving up. There is free parking at the top. It can be very busy though so her patient.
