Between Greenough and Geraldton, in the middle of the Coral Coast, a bizarre natural phenomenon can be seen: Leaning Trees. Strong winds of high salt content from the nearby Indian Ocean cause the Red River Gum Trees, a species of eucalyptus, to bend so that they are partially on the ground.
