This is Standley Chasm found in the West MacDonnell Ranges just west of Alice Springs. it is traditionally known as Angkerle Atwatye, meaning the Gap of Water.

Located 38 mins west of Alice Springs. Standley Chasm is located in a reserve privately owned by the Iwupataka Land Trust. There is a charge or $12.00 to enter. The walk to the spot is not far and an easy walk. Get there when it opens and you will probably have it to yourself especially in Autumn to winter
