This is taken on the eastern side of the Kings Canyon Rim walk a distance of 6 kms that takes about 3 hours..

Photography Tips

Be up on the rim walk for sunrise you will need a head torch for the first climb up onto the rim.

Travel Information

The rim walk has a bit of a hike to the top of the rim on rock stairs but once up the top an uneven but relatively ok walk. There is a branch off just before you get the point where you cross over to come back well worth the extra walk just be carefull about getting too close to the edge of the rim NO Fences
