he Imperial Hotel in Coonabarabran, now known as the Royal Hotel, has a rich history dating back to the late 1800s. Originally called the Courthouse Hotel, it was renamed the Imperial Hotel in 1890 by publican William Field to avoid confusion with other hotels in the area.
