All round spot… sunrise, nighttime or midday with glass outs cross pool small waves. Massive trees all in line off the beach for great underwater shot to shore. River outlet to ocean.
Up black Head Beach to the north end is Red Head Beach w/ bigger surf rocks exposed to the shore and a wedge.

Travel Information

Plenty of parking. Town shops on the way to the beach on top of the hill, there’s a lookout and south is - Back Beach, rough road. Leads to Nine Mile Beach can drive on it to Tuncurry if y’all have a permit to beach drive.
