Allan Tannock Weir on the Warrego River 5km south of Cunnamulla, was completed in 1991. The scheme supplies irrigation for landholders along the ponded area of the weir, mainly growing grapes, cotton and fodder crops. It also provides water to the town of Cunnamulla.
