A lot of wild koala bears on Raymond Island. It is really hard to find wild koalas in Australia. This is a great opportunity to find them, there are over 100 on the small island.

Photography Tips

Take a telephoto lens with you and enjoy the koalas. They are just a few metres away on the trees.

Don't touch them! It is a great and free! spot, so please respect the privacy of the koalas to keep this place free for everbody.

Travel Information

Take the ferry in Paynesville. It is free for pedestrians, you don't need a car on the island. Follow the koala trail and enjoy this beautiful animals.
