Australia Point Nepean Quarantine Station, Mornington Peninsula, Vic
History: Established in 1852 following the arrival of the ship Ticonderoga, which was carrying passengers with scarlet fever and typhoid. It operated until 1980, making it the second-oldest permanent quarantine station in Australia.
