Bad Gastein is a beautiful health resort in the Gastein Valley in Austria. A special feature is the location of the centre, which has developed on the steep slopes around the waterfall and is characterised by very steep and narrow alleys.

Photography Tips

The spot here is directly on the bridge at Straubingerplatz. The bridge will be driven on and the sidewalk is on the wrong side, so take care of the cars. It is the easiest possibility to take pictures of the waterfall in Bad Gastein, but you only have the upper part of the waterfall without the historical city around.
