A lovely place in summer and fall. In summer a good place for milkyway pictures, in fall a good place for fog pictures.

Photography Tips

If you want to do fog picture look for a foggy day where Hebalm lake ist exactly at the edge between fog / no fog. Best time is at or short after sunset, when you still have some light from the west.

Travel Information

You can go there via motorway A2 to Packsattel. From here follow the sign "Hebalm".
