The lake above the Sigmund-Thun-Klamm is an excellent spot for a walk or afternoon hang with friends. It's easy to reach and beautiful in every season!

Photography Tips

I tried to get as close as possible to the surface of this lake for a better reflection outcome. A polarization filter might also be handy to eliminate reflections if you wish. The hut itself is a great subject in your images.

Travel Information

A designated parking area is right next to the lake and can be used as a starting point to circle the lake itself. If you are visiting the nearby George, this lake is also the endpoint. The hut is located at the other end of the small lake (from the marked parking lot) but very close to the end of the gorge.
