Photography Tips

I came here for sunrise to capture the alpine glow on the mountain ridge. Sunset might also be nice to get some light from the right side but the mountains might be a little dark. Summer mornings are really cool up here.

Travel Information

You have multiple options to get here. You can hike up, which takes about one hour. During operation hours (no sunrise), you can take the Areitbahn 1 right to the area. You could also park at the Schmittenhögebahn and hike towards the lake.
