This spot can be found in the heart of Kaprun, Austria. A charming little town that sits right between some stunning mountains and is an excellent place for a multiple-day visit. You can start many great adventures from here and stay in one of the fantastic hotels.

Photography Tips

I used a 28-70mm lens to capture the river and mountain. You might also want to use a longer lens to get a close-up of the mountain peak. Sunset in summer is lovely when the last light of the day hits the peak from the right.

Travel Information

You have multiple options to park your car. Closest is a supermarket parking lot which is OK to use during late summer evenings if you come for sunset. Businesses are usually closed during that time!
