Austria Kunsthaus Graz

The Kunsthaus Graz originated from a competition won by architects Peter Cook and Colin Fournier in 2000. In terms of urban integration, the building—which initially faced fierce criticism from both the public and the media—blends beautifully into the existing context of Graz’s historic city center. The architects themselves describe the building as a "friendly alien."
