Austria Schloss Ort
Schloss Ort is a beautiful castle in the town of Gmunden in Upper Austria. It is built on a small island in Lake Traunsee and is connected to the land by a wooden bridge. The castle is one of the oldest buildings in the area and has a long history.

Come early in the morning for a softer light. You can also take pictures from the lakeside to include the mountains in the background. If the water is calm, you can get a nice reflection of the castle in the lake. Try to visit on a weekday or early in the day if you want fewer people in your photos !
Travel Information
You can go to Schloss Ort by car in the town of Gmunden in Upper Austria. If you are coming from Salzburg or Linz, follow the main roads to Gmunden and then follow the signs to Schloss Ort. There is a parking area close to the castle, and from there you only need to walk a few minutes. The castle is on a small island in Lake Traunsee and is connected to the land by a wooden bridge.
