Photography Tips

Best time to visit would be summer or early autumn. I was there in September and the weather was overall great. There are a lot of security guards all over the place. Since I'm shooting a lot with tripod they started to get nervous. I found out at an early stage that if you told them that you're not a journalist the'd leave you alone.

Travel Information

There are several airlines flying to Baku. From Dubai I took a direct flight and was there in less than an hour. Once on the ground I mainly walked or used their very inexpensive metro network,
