Belgium Sorghvliedt Castle
Between 1745 and 1750, Colonel du Bois had the rococo castle built as a summer residence. The du Bois family owned the castle until 1815.
In 1937, the municipality of Hoboken bought the castle and the park. In 1937-1940, the castle was converted into a town hall. The park was later made accessible to the public and the castle was transformed into a district house.
Sorghvliedt Castle was protected as a monument in 1968.
