The Willemstoren Lighthouse is a historic feature on the island and was part of the development of the island. There is an old building near the lighthouse that can be used to add interest to the photo.

Photography Tips

Polarizing filter is a great idea here. Usually very bright with lots of light. Explore different angles depending on the position of the sun and also consider the inclusion of the crumbling ruin just west of the lighthouse.

Travel Information

A car is necessary to get to the south end of the island. There is plenty of room here to pull off the road and park. No cost to park.
