Bosnia and Herzegovina Sutjeska-Nationalpark

Sutjeska-Nationalpark is the oldest and one of the most spectacular national parks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is home to dramatic mountain landscapes, deep valleys, glacial lakes, and the famous Perućica primeval forest, one of the last remaining virgin forests in Europe. The park offers untouched wilderness and remote scenery, making it a dream location for nature and adventure photography

Because of the high elevation, fog is often present in the early morning hours. Once the sun rises, this creates beautiful light rays streaming through the trees, making it an excellent spot for atmospheric forest photography.

The park is located in southeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina and is most commonly accessed from Foča.
