The Livno Plateau is a vast high-altitude karst landscape in southwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, known for its wide open plains, dramatic skies, and roaming wild horses. he Livno Plateau is accessible by car from the town of Livno, with gravel roads leading deeper into the plateau. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended, especially after rain. There are no facilities in most areas, so bring enough water, food, and fuel. Weather conditions can change quickly due to the high elevation, so be prepared for wind and sudden temperature drops.
